Rajasthan's Suman Rao has won the 'Femina Miss India 2019' crown. On Saturday evening, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was named the winner of the 56th Miss India beauty contest, Grand Finale, at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium in Worli.

Miss India, last year, was crowned 22-year-old Suman, Anupupra Vyasa.

In response to a question of the jury, Suman said, 'When you dedicate yourself to a particular goal in life, your body's balance starts working in that direction for your victory.'

College student Suman Rao will now represent India in the 'Miss World -2019' competition. The 'Miss World' competition is to be held in Pattaya, Thailand on December 7 this year.

Shreya Shankar of Bihar won the 'Miss India United Continents -2019' crown on Saturday, while Chhattisgarh's Shiva Jadhav won the crown of Miss Grain India-2019.

Jury members were in the program: Bollywood choreographer Ramo Desóza, actresses Huma Quraishi, Chitrangada Singh, fashion designer Falguni Shen Peacock, football player Sunil Khatri.

Karan Johar, Dia Mirza, Neha Dhupia, Huma Quraishi, Chitrangada Singh attended the program from Film stars. Artists like Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Mauni Roy and Nora Fateh presented stage performance.

The program was managed by Karan Johar and Manish Paule.
